Hello Joe,

I have a 4520 but don't wish to sell it right now, maybe at a later date.  Matter of fact I have been working on it the past week to get it on the air with an external controller, an RC-1000V.  I would be glad to share what I have learned with you.  I also have some sheets from ACC on hooking up all of the Icom repeaters.  Again willing to share.  I was hoping to scan them over to a Adobe PDF file and post them.  I also have all the manuals for the Icom repeaters.  I also have a 2m and 220 Icom repeater.  All have been adapted to external controllers.  I have also changed out the cables to RG-142 and connectors on the 2m and 220 to N connectors.  Killed the desence.  Pictures now available on these changes.

The 4520 tuned up real nice into the ham band.  It was in the commercial area above when I got it.  The Tx does over 50 watts but I have turned it down to 30.  I bought it with a Vicor 100 watt amp, not sure if I will use it or not.

Let me know if you need the info.  If someone would help guide me, I will put the info up for posting somewhere.  Time permitting..... (what's that?)
