I remember seeing a pulsar mod on the web, it might have been this one:

Have a couple of pulsars sitting here I haven't had time to mess with. Was
planning on digging out the duplexers in them. Anyone know how they fair on
the spec anal test benc
Forget about it. Those are set up for duplex operation but are so specialized
it would not be worth the effort. The High band IMTS phones only had a single
oscillator element that controlled both transmit and receive. The IF was the
same as the difference between the transmitter and receiver
