The candidate is familiar with portal setup (starting point) where user can find a centralized starting place for access to consolidated enterprise-related functions, workgroup systems, and other 3rd party BI applications. Serve as primary resource (Tech Lead ) on development of portal solution for ongoing projects and applications. Required Skills: 1. 4-5 years of hands-on experience with open source enterprise portal tool. 2. 4-5 years of hand-on experience on J2EE Technologies including Java, JSDK 1.4 and later version, MVC Architecture, Jakarta Struts Framework, J2EE Patterns, Design patterns, JDK 4x/5x, EJB, Servlets, Hibernate, JSP, Web Services, JFC, JSF, Portlets, Swing,JavaScript, XML, XSL, JDBC, HTML and Tiles Struts 3. Hand on experience in setting up Portal development Tools 4. Hand on experience in installing the Plugins SDK and the Extension Environment 5. Familiar with Creating the Projects in Rational Application Developer (RAD) and Debugging in RAD 6. Experiencing in Plugins SDK,Java Standard Portlets,Inter-Portlet Communication,Portlets and Web Application Frameworks,Struts Portlets,JSF Portlets Service Builder,Portlet Permissions,Portlet Preferences,Themes Layouts,JavaScript and jQuery and Advanced Themes. Knowledge of JSR 168, 286 WSRP1.0 7. Must have a Global Startup Action, Creating a Cookie on Login and Extending the My Accounts Portlet 8. Must have IBM Websphere knowledge. 9. Good to have Rational Unified Process and associated SDLC technologies (i.e., ClearCase, ClearQuest, ReqPro, Rose and SODA); 10. Strong analytic, problem solving, and collaborative skills 11.
