Instead, this person would take the model (formula) and corresponding SAS code that a quant may have implemented and turn it into production ready code. This would involve optimizing the code to take advantage of the Grid’s parallelization and workload management capabilities, as well as standard tuning. Also, they should able to implement it such that the model can be run in an automated manner via scripted, scheduled process.
