We are undertaking the following general activities during this project: · The in place technical upgrade (without Unicode conversion) of the client BW 3.5 systems to BI 7.0 for the Development, QA and Production landscape. · Installation of BI Java Portal · 1 week of post upgrade support · Knowledge transfer of key BI 7.0 functionality to client resources · Regression testing of existing extractors and reports · Pilot migration of the back end data flow for 1 module or subject area to BI 7.0. Key activities will include the migration of update/transfer rules to transformations and the new DTP process. The BI 7.0 technical upgrade without Unicode conversion is estimated to require a total duration of 12 weeks including 1 week of post upgrade support.
