IMMEDIATE NEED A CONSULTANT Job Title: Manual QA Tester Location: Roanoke, VA Duration: 6+ Months Contract Rate: $ 35 on C2C (NOT FLEX) Responsibilities: • Strong professional background with Manual Testing of web-based and Microsoft Windows based systems. • Regression Testing is helpful – Delta Dental uses QTP – but Manual Testing should be the focus. • Ability to write test cases from scratch based on business / technical requirements documents. • Delta Dental needs someone who can jump right in and start working – the environment at Delta Dental is not a great one for candidates who need hand holding. • Must have the ability to work well independently or in a team environment. • The selected resources will be working on Delta Dental’s package release for all of their customers and is considered a very large project. • Day-to-Day Responsibilities: o Manual Testing o Writing Test Cases from scratch on a daily or bi-weekly basis. o Working on organized project teams who are assigned to predetermined projects o Close interaction with project teams in a collaborative environment o Working on projects from start to finish. Qualifications: • Experience and ability to manual test – ability to start manual testing with little or no training. • Ability to write test cases from scratch. • Ability to work well independently or in a team environment. • ABILITY TO WORK ON MANY PROJECTS SIMULTANEOUSLY, very fast-paced environment • Excitement about the position, excited about Delta Dental, excitement about the work to be performed and the opportunity.
