Candidate should be able to work under pressure. L3 has responsibility for computer room, servers, switches, and video conference equipment. Strong proficiency in written/verbal communication skills. Responsible for maintaining a standard image on user laptops, desktops and peripheral devices which may include PDA’s, Blackberry and other handheld devices. Candidate will be required to setup and configure desktop and laptop equipment (Dell and Toshiba) with Windows XP. Strong troubleshooting capabilities required. Certifications to fix Toshiba laptop and Dell desktop equipment is a strong plus. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) and Windows 2003 Professional. Requires frequent interface with the user community. Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP and SCCM. Basic understanding of Windows Active Directory and Microsoft’s Windows Server 2003. Experience with troubleshooting user applications on laptops, desktops and servers. An understanding of desktop imaging and automated tools such as Microsoft’s SCCM product. Experience using the remote control features of Microsoft’s SCCM a plus. Familiarity of Lotus Notes a plus. MCSE and other certifications a plus. Strong Project Management skills a plus. Requires the ability to create and manage project activity. Ability to take direction as well as being a “self-starter”. Candidate will work directly with Plant Floor and Administrative Staff to identify issues and develop/implement countermeasures. Team player with ability to multi-task, follow directions, and learn quickly. Candidate needs to live in Jackson, TN or surrounding area.
