We are looking consultant for following positions. *Position: Security Architect/Lead * *Location: Phoenix, AZ* *Duration: 6 Months* *Job description* Designs, develops or recommends security systems solutions that will ensure proprietary/confidential data and systems are protected. Provides technical services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions. Participates with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into processes and systems. Individual will manage a team of Security professionals in the area(s) of Security Operations, performing in the role of manager with tasking of salary review, counseling, performance reporting, financial reporting, forecasting, status reporting and other tasking, as delegated by Senior Manager. Tracking and reporting on SLA measures as they relate to the area of specialization. Evaluates and defines risks associated with current and proposed technologies. Briefs clients and managers on challenges with Information Security technology and practices. Conducts Information Security risk assessment of internal and external clients. Takes active role in developing Standard Operating Practices. Works with appropriate parties to ensure adoption and adherence with practices. Assists in the development and implementation of Security Awareness campaigns and events. Reviews Internal Audit findings. Identifies weaknesses in current operations and works with managers to bring programs up to standards. Researches complex problems to ascertain possible solutions. Designs leading edge solutions to solutions to support key initiatives. Provides input to program timeline, costs, and implementation. Monitors industry trends/standards. Requires heavy interaction with vendors, clients and Perot staff to reach a solution meeting the organizations needs as well as client and Perot Systems requirements. Meets with potential clients and offers possible Perot Systems services. Publishes articles which promote Perot Systems technical expertise in field of Information Security. Provides input to clients and sr. manager on team member assignments, promotability, and performance appraisals. Provides technical assessment of staff to managers and sr. manager. Recommends applicable training as necessary. *Required Skills*: - Skill Set Must Have: Security Standards/Procedures Analyst Security Administrator Required Skills: 5+ years of direct management experience. 5+ years of progressive directly related experience in network and systems security, information security engineering or the equivalent combination of education and experience in enterprise-wide combinations of: Network security design and operations Unix (Sun OS, Solaris, NeXT) Electronic encryption, key management, E-commerce and secure EDI Financial applications security operations or development Smartcards Windows NT desktop and server Novell Netware 3.1x MS Office Suite Compaq PC hardware/software Desired Skills: Healthcare background. Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree preferred Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials: Professional certification in area of expertise is preferred, along with participation in nationally recognized information security organizations.
