Description:- * Candidate requires minimal supervision and is relatively autonomous in all aspects of assigned work. * May supervise lower level architects acting as a team lead or checking others' work. * May be responsible for training new team members. * Typically reports to a department manager or project manager. * Provides architectural guidance to various projects in the organization. * The position will identify, evaluate and recommend technical solutions within and across systems. * The architect must also be able to design solutions within the context of the available infrastructure, taking into account scalability, availability, reliability, stability, security and performance. Not looking for Senior J2EE Developers. Position 2:- Position:- Oracle Functional Consultant with Vastera experience Location:- Mountain View, CA Duration:- 6 Months Rate:- $55 Max. The lower the best for client The requirements are as followed:- * Oracle Functional Consultant- Vastera and Trade Compliance Main Skills:- * Experience with Order management and trade compliance business process * Experience with Vastera Trade Compliance products and configuration of distribution. This will not be the main skillset of any candidate- it will be a tool they use. * Vastera is an Electronic Trade Compliance Product that determines distribution restrictions when sending products to certain foreign countries. It compiles a list of equipment allowed in the country and Homeland Security keeps the rules for the software updated. (For instance, the XBOX wasn't allowed to go to China when first released because it could be used as a weapon.) * 4+ Years of experience with business analysis and design * Experience with Oracle ERP in other modules is a plus * Good verbal and communication skills * Experience with at-least 2 life cycle implementations and familiarity with software development life cycle Job Functions:- * 30.00% - Business Analysis and design * 30.00% - Technical and Functional design documents (and configuration documents) * 20.00% - Support for ongoing maintenance * 20.00% - Communication and status reporting Position 3:- Position:- RDDB Specialist/DBA Location:- Trenton, NJ Duration:- 6 Months Note:- Client might ask for a face to face interview. Summary:- * RDDB (Resource Directory DataBase) specialist for the deployment, troubleshooting, administration, and training of the system out to 21 County Offices of Emerg Mgmt, and to over 400 municipalities' employees in NJ. EDUCATION:- * 4 year college Undergraduate Degree required * Graduate degree (Masters) highly preferred * Years of Relevant Experience: 2 to 5 years DESCRIPTION:- * Actively contribute as a system usage expert or actual designer. * Coordinate product design reviews to verify that design meets quality standards and functional/technical requirements. * Coordinate enhancements to business and logical data models with data base administration and development teams to make the appropriate changes to the system. * Effectively lead product tests and trials. * Effectively Deploy and support RDDB's statewide growth in Government organizations plus the initial penetration into the Private Sector. * Identify appropriate business examples to illustrate key concepts / features. * Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the Application Team. Summary:- * The Product Specialist is the expert for a technical development or execution environment product or set of products. Primary responsibility is to ensure availability and facilitate productive use of a product for Application Teams or end users.
