Did not include much information in my original post. For the moment,
it appear that there was a DDS-4 tape mixed in with the DDS-3 tapes.
Everytime the loader got to the DDS-4, it ejected the entire caddy.
Removing this tape seemed to have corrected the error.

Hello:
I recently installed an HP DD3 Autoloader (external). It ran fine for
the first set of tapes. When the user installed the second set, the
drive started returning the following error:
Loader for "HP DAT DDS-DC, SCSI 1:5" reported a hardware failure when
moving tapes.
The script then pa
I have been able to install the apps and get a new test service to

to load a file created in Notepad (e.g., mydoc.txt), I get the

Hello:
I have FileMaker Pro "client" running on an NT server. The client
hosts several databases that are always open.
Does anyone know a way to script this app to close and re-open so
Retrospect client can do its stuff?
thanks

Hello:
I have an HP DD3 Autoloader. It loads six tapes at a time.
Within Retrospect, I defined three storage sets (call them Moe,
Larry, and Curly). I rotate them each week. At the start, I took 18
blank tapes and labled them Moe1, Moe2,..., Larry1, Larry2, etc.
After several weeks, I got a m
How is this different from just setting FMP Server's internal backup?

Hello:
Recently I did a restore of an entire drive.
When I would select files to restore from the set (using the Browser)
they reported a size of, say, 100MB. However, when I went to click
"Restore", Retrospect reported that it needed almost three times as
much space.
What am I missing?
