You won't like the answer use apache. I reported a similar problem in the faq (with solution) http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/wiki/FAQ I think this is another manifestation. If this is the case do you could you add a comment to the faq too? Also see http://groups.google.com/group/r

Ok I think I figured this out. Looks like there was an issue where the settings_local.py had the correct settings, but when I logged into the admin screen the mail server was set to localhost instead of the correct external SMTP server. I removed the entry in settings_local.py and updated it via
