installing riak from source with R17 is making a problem with regex. so now
I would like to use the recommend release with riak.
root@oodba-debian:~# aptitude search libssl-dev

How did you install R17? kerl? If so, it silently doesn't install
crypto if you don't have libssl-dev installed, see here:

I downloaded .deb package with R17 and it is working with no error at all.
riak@oodba-debian:~$ /usr/sbin/riak start
