itionally stereo
interconnects for backward compatibility.
For carrying multi-channel FLAC you need HDMI, USB, Firewire, ethernet,
etc. I would love to see the next model of Squeezebox player supporting
HDMI, which would allow you to use it with any modern receiver for
multi-channel.

make sure "Export To Flac" is
checked and click on the "SPDIF Wav" button. (I usually uncheck the
"Re-tag" option before doing this, and afterwards I use MP3tag to
re-tag the files.)

When MusicIP is going through my library its log contains the following
warning about many of my MP3 files:
Error decoding ID3 tag (invalid encoding)
How can I tell which specific tag it does not like?
I use MP3Tag, foobar2000 and MediaMonkey to set various tags.

dioMuxer that I mentioned in post #248 in this thread will do it.

. But at least I can have replay gain enabled and leave it that
way. Since most of my listening and music collection is still stereo, I
prefer to have RG enabled, and can live with the occasional louder
surround tracks.

Yes, my FLAC tags are as you describe. I just split out the data to make
it easier to compare.
Your FingerPrint for the CD FLAC is exactly the same as mine.

Society of Sound is $60/year. I just looked through what I got from them
over the last year, and it is unbelievable bang for the buck. It's not
just classical music either -- I enjoy their non-classical stuff even
more.

I don't suppose any of the Squeezebox DACs does HDCD enhanced
decoding?
Is there any ripper post-processing software that can decipher to
20/44.1 or whatever the HDCD original is? And can Squeezebox DACs
decode that to analog?
