Why not just use SMB on the UBUNTU machine, and share the folder to a windows PCas a drive? This is the way I do it - then Use DBPowerAmp to convert, fix tags, etc. I would tho, have both machines wired to the same etherswitch, no double wireless hops need apply. ~A -- alZmtbr

UBUNTU 9.04 on an IBM T42 laptop rips those pesky SONY copy protected CD's like a charm! Perhaps consider UBUNTU for your laptop? It'll give you a set of mobile tools for tag editing, or taking/ripping your library on the go! Cheers! Allan -
