I think I would question if it's worth the risk/time . What does the
current version do for you that 1.7 doesn't?

upgrade from that, you might find it easier to load a blank slate Debian
Squeeze and go from there.

I had a backup Centos machine that started that and it turned out to be
the ASI audio card. Put a M 44 in and it hasn't hiccuped again.

RDAirplay not starting up sounds like a lock file, however I'm wondering
if something else is going on.
Considering your previous experience with the RAM, I'm wondering if you
still might have some type of hardware issue. What you've described
almost sounds like there might be a bad capacito
There is probably a rdairplay lock file stopping you open rdairplay. Hence
the multiple message. The lock file is a hidden file. To display hidden
files. Fire up the file manager nautilus and hit CTRL H to display them.

Ok, I tried quotes, etc but RDlogmanager does not accept quotes or any
other type of punctuation.
The is a easily reproduced bug, just put something like ñ in event name
or clock name and everything gets messed up.
