I see your point, but a can't see a practical way of passing an argument to
a bash script after a key being pressed. I want to try something else
instead... like a single xbindkeys daemon with everything inside.

community-developed fork of MySQL, with development led by the guy who founded

I think I remember in recent times, someone was asking about operating
Rivendell using MIDI data; I believe an Arduino was involved. Since I can't
find the message, I'm just going about it by memory.

Oh thanks !
Seriously, I'm thinking of an override feature, not a button I've
alwaysused, and previously discussed as time consuming.
Say that, in my case, I have a hundred of cuts in that cart. A single
"everred" button on the cart would be better than "clear all" on each cut.

Well, I've installed Rivendell in a networked environment with Apache
installed in the main server only, and almost everything is working fine.
You must be careful of setting your main server in RdAdmin -> Host
Configuration -> HTTP/Apache server for every host in the network, and
that's all.

Well I gues, as the "evergreen" tickbox for a cut overrides all the
other settings for the cut.
If that is the purpose of the "everred" button, then it would override
any other settings in the cuts for that cart.

As far as sorting goes scheduler codes help a bunch.
ie have all promos have a code of PR then it is easy to find them.
Day parting of carts versus cuts would seem to be a major rewrite.
There would also could be conflicts between the settings which one
