777 is always a very bad solution.

Hi
Tim Camp's response from a little while ago could be of some help to you.
Thanks
Stan
Well you can get basically anything you want to know filtered how you
want with mysql query, it's pretty much all in the database.
mysql -h 'hostname -p'password' Rivendell "SELECT ARTIST, TITLE, NUMBER
Ok

Wayne Merricks covered this a while back on this list with Fade instead of
stop.
This might not be a complete copy and paste from his email last year
apologies to wayne if this isn't quite right.
I've personally added a button to the Hotkeys panel to trigger this macro.
Or you can copy it to th
Just remember, if you operate in Auto mode and have RD stopped for a live
break -if a timed event comes up it will crash in over top of any live
programming. That's the whole purpose of Auto.

Excellent, yes things like that pop up all the time and make it much
better all the time!
Also, that change of transition, I've just tried it here and it looks
perfect for what we need, thank you all for your input on this :-)

Hi Alan! We all may need to blow our ears too! There's a lot of Rivendell
features that I see people talking about here that I never had even an idea
they existed!
That's part of the fun of Rivendell!

Ah,
Now that sounds like a good inbetween option to use a cart with the RML.
I'll give that a go.
They have been doing the swap between MANUAL and AUTO, but in some cases
this causes confusion in the studio as they cannot see where their next
stop (or start) is, so during say an ad break they get
Thanks for the quick advice Fernando, however in the main screen (Button
log widget on the left of the screen) I don't see how to modify an entry
to change it to a stop.
I'm trying to avoid having to explain to presenters how to go into the
log editor, etc!
Thanks again.
Andy

I'd create a cart that only contains an RML "PS" (stop) command. Then ADD it
where you want it to go.
If its a matter of your presenters wanting to stop the log down to talk then
return to automated playout, just have them switch momentarily to MANUAL or
LIVE ASSIST.

Hi, I think that if you change next event's transition type to "STOP"
you'll get what you want, if I understood it.

Hi folks,
Firstly, thank you so much for all the help I've received. The community
station has gone online for its initial trial this week and getting
great reviews and the presenters are getting to grips with Rivendell now.
A couple of points have been raised and one that I realised seems a big
Yes I have the file / var / snd with 777 file permissions

As discussed last week, the package libhpi 4.04.07-1 provides
libhpi.so.0.0.9. A new package 4.08.07-1 provides libhpi.so.0.0.10.
libhpi 4.
