Hi Nate,
Rivendell uses dlopen to find libmad.so, libmp3lame.so and libtwolame.so.
On Debian/Ubuntu systems, these libraries are available as libmad.so.0,
libmp3lame.so.0 and libtwolame.so.0.
You can either :
* create manual links
* install the associated libXYZ-dev packages (with provided link
Do you have a backed up copy of the original, unconverted 1.7.2
database?
My suspicion is that the current, converted one is damaged. I would
suggest reconverting it via the following method:
1) Close rdairplay and any other RD applications using the database
2) sudo /etc/init.d/rivendel
Greetings,
Working on a new install of 2.5.1 and had a terrible time geting the

First order of business is to thank you all for this mailing list - this is

Hi, we have been working with music master to get setup with rivendell.
The PD has worked with our MM consultant, and got MM setup.
This is what the file it generates looks like:

Theres a functional diagram on their website, not really a schematic but

I'm trying to run a macro from 'Startup Cart' containing 'LB KVFE RD1!'

Not possible even after you work around this you get compile issues
which can also be worked around but then I got stuck with "can't open
/dev/gpio0" and gave up.
I hope it gets looked at again as I have issues with new pcs and old
kernels but for the moment its not a big issue I guess.

I just tried to compile gpio-1.1.0 under Debian 7 and I get "unsupported
kernel version". The kernel that comes with Debian 7 is 3.2.0.
Is there a workaround for this?
If not, I should be able to downgrade to Debian 6, as I'm building this
with old hardware.
