Another round this evening. This time I decided to give a try on fresh Mint
16 install (Saucy). I installed RD using Tryphon rep.
All went fine until the Edit Markers portion... "Unable to download peak

Hello all.
I know it's not really a solution, but I reinstalled RRABuntu on the
machine in question and everything is running OK.

Hi All,
I have had a go with this and i have been unsuccessful.
I had to install gcc to be able to run the ./configure command but then i

A quick question on the RD entries in syslog.
There's a cart with one cut, as a specific example where the .wav file
is about 649M (59:16.7 duration) and the system sample rate is 48k.
The corresponding entry in syslog when that cut loads & unloads is
mostly self explanatory except I'm not clea
I am running the Appliance DVD v2. That worked with password of letmein.

Sorry John, Wayne beat me to it this morning. On the appliance, you'll
have to use yum in place of apt
Assuming you have the command line mysql client handy you could just use
that:
mysql -u rduser -p -h rivserverip_or_hostname Rivendell -e "SELECT *
FROM SCHED_CODES ORDER BY CODE ASC;"
This will spew out text to the console but you could make it go to a
text file
mysql -u rduser -p -h rivs
Looks like standard apache web service problem. Check that you can
access: http://localhost/rd-bin/addcart.html
I also had an issue recently where the web components didn't compile
properly and some of the cgi files were 0 bytes. I simply copied a
working copy of the rd-bin directory over to
Happend to me after a fresh install on Ubuntu 14.04. All RD data was saved
prior.
I've managed to set it up correctly. Audio plays fine, DB is apparently OK.
The exception is when I click on "Edit Markers".
Hints?
Thanks

Fantastic, I will give that a go and let you know how I get on.

Hi,
Not sure if it helps, but heres how I got polymer installed on Debian 7:
Install some qt3 stuff:
sudo apt-get install qt3-qtconfig qt3-dev-tools
Download the polymer source (found a link in Debian lenny on launchpad):
