[RDD] Base OS future...CentOS 7 vs 8 timeline.

Just out of curiosity... I know that the lifespan of CentOS 7 is about 10 years and we're about 5 in. Presumably, CentOS 8 will be the same. CentOS 7 will obviously be supported for the foreseeable future...and I can appreciate the stability of the platform, but some of its code base is
