I ran into something like that on a Ubuntu 10.04 machine and Rivendell
2.1.4. While I didn't have any OGG / MP3 stuff, I did have mp2 stuff.
It would play audio fine, but I could not see any of the waveform data
when I went in to edit markers in RDLibrary.
