Further to this I think I have solved the problem with my Glasscoder crashing. I'm recording it here in case anyone else hits the same problem. I think it was a memory issue as I have increased the RAM on the server running it and it has now been connected for several days without a glitch.

Mike, Check out Liquidsoap. It works extremely well, has been my go-to streaming client for years. I like it because in addition to just streaming, you can have it do processing on the fly. It can also generate multiple streams using different codecs and bitrates all at the same time. As an
