Not possible even after you work around this you get compile issues
which can also be worked around but then I got stuck with "can't open
/dev/gpio0" and gave up.
I hope it gets looked at again as I have issues with new pcs and old
kernels but for the moment its not a big issue I guess.

I just tried to compile gpio-1.1.0 under Debian 7 and I get "unsupported
kernel version". The kernel that comes with Debian 7 is 3.2.0.
Is there a workaround for this?
If not, I should be able to downgrade to Debian 6, as I'm building this
with old hardware.
