Hi folks,
I've installed the latest Cygwin release and used rockboxdev.sh to build
the tool chain. The only hitch with that I had was some missing
libraries and wget, but installing those solved the problem.
I have successfully built RB for the H140 and am trying to build the

If folks really want to stream-line, why not remove the "Enable replay
gain" option from the "replay gain" menu and add a "no replay gain",
"off" or "ignore replay gain tags" option to the "replay gain type" setting?
Personally, I'm happy with how it currently stands. The current

Good idea. I had forgotten all about dircache.
Apologies for the double post. Thunderbird gave me the impression the
post didn't go out as it was still sitting in the drafts folder. I
should have been more patient and checked the sent folder instead. In
any case, I want to make a further comment below.

How about "other" instead of general/miscellaneous/etc.?

Once it is installed, Cygwin works reasonably well with screen readers.
It's no worse than working with the Windows command prompt. However,

Lots of interest. There are loads of blind folk using Rockbox and all
efforts to make it even more useful and usable speechwise are greatly

I'll have to go check out these patches!
Cheers,

Hi folks,
I just updated my cvs to the latest. It's been a week or so since I

me. I've pasted the output from make below.

Yes,
Hi folks,
I'm in the midst of writing a utility to build .voice files using the
new V2 lang file format.
I have the parser written and can now read and write .lang files; I
don't yet have code for loading and saving comments in .lang files
(comments are read, but ignored at the moment) and there
Hi folks,
I am hoping that someone can point me in the direction of what I'm doing
wrong.
I want to have some audible feedback when Rockbox is ready after it has
been powered on. So, I tried adding the line

to main.c, but I've had no joy. rockbox rema
