It turns out noone in IRC is willing to admit they actually use this
feature and we have agreed that either way makes sense (leaving the
current behaviour or fixing it)..
So, does anyone on this list have a strong feeling about this one?

If you're trying to install rockbox, you should be able to download
the relevant iRiver version from http://build.rockbox.org/
I think the version you're after is probably
http://build.rockbox.org/dist/build-h120/rockbox.zip
Once you've got that, you can find the instructions
