We are pleased to present you our latest summer course Innovation Journalism: Detecting Weak Signals with David Nordfors, Stanford University (25 to 27July, 2007). "Innovation journalism" is a new concept that aims to revolutionize modern reporting. This three-day seminar will explain the fundamentals of innovative journalism and promote its use in newsrooms across Europe. Described as "paradigm-changing," innovation journalism stresses an interdisciplinary approach to news reporting. The programme will feature lectures, speaker panels, discussions, and case studies that highlight the need to synthesize elements of business, technology, lifestyle, science, and political journalism to produce a more complete analysis of current events.
