Hello everybody,
We are a private college that wants to propose a Comenius 1
project for THE FRATERNITY of SOCRATES and MEVLANA. . We are in
search of partners for our Project.
THE LANGUAGE OF THE PROJECT WILL BE ENGLISH.
Description of the Project:
Although Socrates didn't write any book in his life,he became one of
the greatest philosophers in the world. The basic principle of his
method is criticizing ideas without any prejudice.
Mevlana was a philosopher who affected both east and west
representing love and tolerance.
In our Project ,we will try to contribute for the universal peace and
tolerance by giving up prejudice and searching ways of intercultural
dialogue . The ideas of Socrates and Mevlana will be our guide in this
project.
The Aims of the Project:
- to synthesize the ideas of education of the east and the
west philosophers by using Socrates and Mevlana's thoughts.
- to contribute today's education programmes
- to contribute intercultural communication and interaction
- to contribute the development of universal education by
synthesizing east and west's values.
The Expectation of the Project :
To be accessible for everybody , we are planing to prepare a web site
in English to give information about the activities and the results of
the Project.
We are planning to prepare a book about the Works of the Project and
translate it to different languages .
