I've just committed a merge of the trunk on to the win32-mingw-rtmidi
branch. For the moment the MIDI changes have broken the only useful
working bit - the MIDI OUT playback - however I'll get on to fixing that
next.
For the moment I've uploaded a temporary Alpha 3 installer which is _just_
a mer

Thanks for the update.
Though having the fix in the Ubuntu LTS release would be preferable, I
can deal with a PPA. My automated install process already installs one
for fluidsynth, and adding one for rosegarden would be no big problem.
