I've coded a fix for the thru routing as we talked about. It was actually
pretty easy and it doesn't seem to have broken anything. I can't verify
for myself that it does or doesn't put thru output on the expected
channel, though I'm fairly sure it does.

Your analysis was correct.
When I reproduced the problem, seeing that "Toggle Repeat" did not
function, I left-clicked on the segment that already appeared to be
selected (causing no change in appearance). After doing that, "Toggle
Repeat" worked.
