thx for the report. I do think you can have silent denial with selinux (maybe).
It would be fine if you can set selinux in permissive.

I don't see what's wrong with setting _default_patch_fuzz, it saves a lot of
work when updating to new versions. I think RPM's new paranoid default is a bad
idea.
