As far as I know (as the author of libweed), LiVES is the only program which
uses it. I would be very surprised if it were otherwise.

Could we not make an exception and just package libweed as a sub-package? Is
there any other software that uses libweed?

I did some searching for libweed on other distrobutions. Apparently both
Debian, Suse, and Mandriva both package libweed separately. We should probably
do the same.

Is the problem that libweed is ok in Fedora proper and LiVES is not, but they
are both provided in the same source archive?

Also, I forgot to mention that use of the "%makeinstall" macro is depreciated.
Unless "make DESTDIR=%{buildroot} install" doesn't work (or can't be made to
work) I would avoid it.
