After creating an rrd file with Cacti to collect traffic_in and traffic_out,
the order of the datasets output by fetching the contents of some rrd files
is traffic_out then traffic_in. Most of this rrd files were created with the
desired order of ds's (traffic_in-traffic_out), however a few of the
Hi,
I think, that's not a bug but a feature.
You have to escape the colon ( : ) with a double backslash ( \\ ) if
you use RRDs in perl.

Hi
Can anyone please explain how to compile/recompile RRDTTOL under Windows XP.
I have the same problem as Ian Gray in wanting to change the default rrd font, but changing it in the config.h file does not solve the problem as this file is not read dynamically.
thank you

I have an RRD which is collecting live statistics on about 20 different
boxes... What I want to do is have RRDTool dump data from certain DS's (i.e.
max value, min value, average, etc) for the past 24 hours as text so I can
build tables in HTML.
How do I tell RRDTool tol dump- for example the

Tobi: could you post it to the Wiki? I started to do it sometime
ago, but wasn't sure where to fit it in.

This is the error that I get. I'm wondering why this file was not

Yes they all have the same permissions. Is there anyway to see what
version of rrdcgi I am running just to verify? I tried -v, -V,
--version, none seem to work.

to
