I am installing rrdtool and when i run the perl script rrd_traffic.pl
the following error message appears:
/usr/local/bin/rrd_traffic.pl: unable to generate eth0 day traffic
graph: opening '/var/lib/rrd/eth0.rrd': No such file or directory
/usr/local/bin/rrd_traffic.pl: unable to generate eth0
Try this secret command and send the result to this list:
ls -l /var/lib/rrd/eth0.rrd
/FW

When I run this command : ls -l /var/lib/rrd/eth0.rrd
and the output is as below:
ls: /var/lib/rrd/eth0.rrd: No such file or directory
Creating the file eth0.rrd does not help as it gives the following
error message:
/var/lib/rrd/eth0.rrd is not a valid rrd file.

How do you create the file? Since RRDTool expects the file to be a valid
RRD-file I assume it is created by RRDTool...

Can Somebody Help me on this PLS...!. This first time Iam using
RRDTool.I had Initial Hiccups in compiling and Installing this tool for
Nagiosgraph which I managed to cross finaly phew...! .But again iam
stuck with this error.
My Perfdata.log is as below, but RRDTool is unable to create any rrd
I have configured rrdtool and the graphs that display are just blank.
Where must I have gone wrong during installation?
Any assistance please?
