AFAIK this depends on your data source (DS) definition.
Floating values can be used for GAUGE.
COUNTER and DERIVE are "classic" counters and are integer only.

Hi, I have created an rrd file and inserted some data into it but today had
some problems with getting the information from it (by rrdinfo). There are
very strange values returned by rrdinfo, by 'strange' I mean very huge, it
looks like there has was some integer overflow. Examples:
rra[0].cur_row
