Thanks for the detailed response Alex. I decided to just use GD to
generate the charts instead of rrd. Already had the data in a SQL db
and all anyways.

I am trying to graph some trouble ticket stats. Usual stuff like number
of new tickets per day, closed per day, etc. Anyone know of a good
example for daily queried statistics like this?
