Yes - this way removes too much - I still want the axes and the
numbers printed on the axes, just as little white space around this as
possible.

I am using a number of different formats for displaying graphs of my
data, and I was looking to be able to remove some of the empty spacing
around the graph for some overviews. For example, I've not specified
a vertical-label, yet the space for it still seems to be reserved. Is
