I'm trying to build and rrd that accepts one update a day, then graphs it over the entire year. Is the following correct, as I don't seem to be getting any data graphed...
RRDs::create( "data/$name.rrd", "-s 80000", #accepts a new value about every 20 hours "DS:input:GAUGE:172800:0:10", #if no new data within 2 days, it becomes *UNKNOWN*. Min PR value is 0, maximum is 10 "RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:1:1440", #day "RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:30:336", #week "RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:120:360", #month "RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:1440:365", #year ); #There is an update script in here, but I'm just wanting to know if the rrd settings are correct. RRDs::graph ("images/$name.gif", "--start=-31104000", "-w 800", "DEF:myinput=data/$name.rrd:input:AVERAGE", "LINE2:myinput#0000FF", "-t $name"); ============================================================================== The information contained in this email and any attachment is confidential and may contain legally privileged or copyright material.
