I have an interesting idea for improving rsync and I'd love to work on it
as part of GSOC. Is there a proper organisation to submit my rsync-related
proposal?

I still get this error from time to time, so I suppose it is not fixed in
version 3.0.9. Just downloaded the patch and recompiled will test the next
days.

Hmm, stock 3.0.7 with official fileflags crtimes patches was working and
3.0.9 with those patches is not? That's weird.

My own build of rsync preserves Spotlight comments just fine. Those comments
are stored as extended attributes, so as long as you preserve xattrs, your
Spotlight comments
