Just adding that when using fast storage such as an SSD and/or a slow processor
like in some NAS boxes, the gap can widen quite a lot. Here are my times on my

The key here is the sudo. ssh will always look to ~/.ssh/config but once you
sudo your ~ is /root instead of /Users/kbroughton. Duplicate your
~/.ssh/config in
