I missed a step in the upgrade process.
I figured this out while looking at another thread dealing with
attachment corruption.
The upgrade process is:
- Upgrade to 3.8.0
- perl etc/upgrade/schema.mysql-4.0-4.1.pl db user passwd > sql.queries
mysql -u root -p rt3 < sql.queries

but 127.0.01 just goes to an apache default page that says : it works

How would I go about moving the database info from 3.6.4 to the 3.8.1 version,

Don't play with this variable in 3.8.1 unless you know what you're
doing. WebDomain, WebPath and WebPort are all you need in most cases.

That's all you need, as far as I can see. Domain is DOMAIN and is not

a RT "AddOn".

when i click through the links i can only get a couple of links through before
they all start displaying blank pages,

it happens if i view RT from the localhost or any other machine,
note that for other people localhost is also 127.0.0.1 and not
everything will work for them. You need some domain name that resolves
for them or use IP address in WebDomain option.

We have a template that we have used on many different versions of RT that will
display the complete ticket history. We have it tied to a scrip that will
notify an admin when a ticket is closed and show them the complete history.
This stopped working after we upgraded to RT 3.8.0. Everything

documentation-blindness. I was mistaking the script's standard out for MySQL
activity. Sorry about the goose chase.
Now that the script output is *properly* applied to my DB binary attachments
are again working as exp

Now however, when I attach an .xls file, the file comes back
corrupted, or unreadable as an .xls file. This worked okay
on 3.6.1. Perhaps I've done something wrong?
No errors are generated when attaching a file.

I know the latest version of Graphviz can output lovely anti-aliased
graphs. Is there an easy way to get RT to anti-alias its Graphviz
output?
BTW, the Graphviz integration is super-cool.
