It would seem that you do not have your logging level set to debug --
that would certainly help by printing out more information.
I have debug enabled:
Set($LogToFileNamed, /var/log/rt3/rt.log);
Set($LogToFile, 'debug');
in RT_SiteConfig.pm -- is there another place I should enable
