Hi,
I'm trying to install RT 3.6 on my Ubuntu 6.06 (Dapper) system and have
followed instructions here:
http://wiki.bestpractical.com/view/UbuntuInstallGuide2
Unfortunately, when I try:
apt-get install rt3.6-apache2
I receive the message:

Hi all,
Please help, I'm still stuck.
Anyone have any further thoughts on this one?
Thanks very much,
Don

I track it?
- Note, that I'd like to track the simplest case of clicking on a ticket and
then having it display (the RT log will not display this info).
For your convenience, I am attaching my conf files.

the same problem. For more than half of the tickets that
remote users try to access, the page stalls half way through loading. I
notice that when I access RT from localhost, its very fast and pages never
stall.
Any help is so very appreciated,

Hi,
I have
Set($LogToFile , 'debug');
in my RT_SiteConfig.pm file and nothing shows up in rt.log as users access
RT. The only message in there is a Successful login message for each user
that logs in.
Should there be more RT debugging log messages in there?
Thanks,
Don

Don;
Thats odd , the 3 lines in RT_SiteConfig is all you needed to change, you
did restart
MultiViews Indexes SymLinksIfOwnerMatch
IncludesNoExec
/Directory
/IfModule
::
userdir.load
::
LoadModule userdir_module /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_userdir.so

Hi Barry,
I just checked again for mod_fastcgi, and, it appears that I do have it. In
ubuntu, it is called
libfcgi-perl
So, back to the drawing board. :)
Have you had the chance to check out my config files?
Thanks for any further help,

My users are complaining that RT is slow and not working to the point of
being useless.
I'm very new to system administration and my RT3.4.4 is not working well on
Ubuntu 6.06. I have followed the instructions here:

What does the top command show -- anything bubble

Thanks again for any further help on this,

Hi,
I'm having a problem with my install of RT on Ubuntu 6.06. I've followed the
directions here: http://wiki.bestpractical.com/index.cgi?UbuntuInstallGuide
The problem I'm having is that remote users who access my RT installation
often do not get the entire page. Instead, they get the
