*Qualifications:*

·         5 - 6 years’ experience in Cellular protocol stack testing (WCDMA
and LTE), preferably on Windows OS.

·         Excellent stack domain knowledge w.r.t UE side

·         Hands on experience in Automation/Scripting knowledge on call
boxes (Anritsu 8475, R&S CMW500, Spirent) using Perl or Python or C#

·         Prior working knowledge on integration testing or Certification
(ATT/TMO) testing will be added advantage

·         Hands-on experience and Expert knowledge of 3GPP (UMTS & LTE)
Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocol and call processing, testing and creating test
cases using equipment such as Anritsu 8475, CMW 500, Keysight PXT/UXM
performance and conformance systems and conformance equipment

·         Hands on experience with Qualcomm & Intel Modem Chipsets

·         Experienced in WCDMA, LTE, VoLTE, IMS/SIP protocol log Analysis,
Debugging and Pointing towards root cause for Protocol Failures with
respect to Modem, OS or Network

·         Wireless Protocol Test Engineer is responsible for:

·         Creating Protocol test scenarios (UMTS+LTE) across all
the procedure that comply to 3GPP and



*Carrier requirements*

·               Identifying critical scenarios that impact user experience
on cellular services, map such scenarios to modem procedure, design the
test cases on network simulators test and optimize the modem or OS platform

·               Debug latencies in various layers in protocol stack,
Hardware interface (such as USB/PCIe) that could impact power and
performance

·               Windows User mode and kernel mode driver knowledge for
networking devices (Wi-Fi, LTE)

·               Plan the test approach and scope, write test cases, execute
test cases, record and manage defects

·               communicate issues with greater detail and help development
teams to easily understand fix issues faster or assess the level of risk



*Tools:*

*Scripting:* Python, PowerShell

*Network Simulator:* Anritsu 8475, Rohde & Schwarz(R&S) CMW500, Anite SAS,
Spirent ULTS, Spirent 8100-LTE

*Debugging Tools:* QXDM, QPST, QCAT, Intel Mobile Analyzer & STT, Comprion
IT3 Prove & Wireshark.

*Protocols: *SS7, MAP, SCCP, MTP, TCP/IP, UDP, SIP, RTP/RTCP, SCTP, FTP,
BICC, IPV4/IPV6.
