We have urgent requirement with one of our Direct client's (No hidden Layers) , please review below job description and let me know your interest Position ID: DYESJP00019734 Title: Technical Project Manager (Information Security Risk Management) Location: North Chicago, IL (Initially Remote role) Duration: 12 Months + Initially Remote Role Primary Needs: Project Manager Mainstream IV (DII3) - Information Security Risk Management * Position will reside within the Information Security Risk Management (ISRM) Team at a Pharmaceutical client, driving projects within Pharmaceutical client's ISRM functions. * Experience in managing Information Security, Governance and Compliance projects, as this Project Manager may lead a variety of projects or workstreams (estimated 2 - 4 at any point in time) that may cross the following key areas and functions within the ISRM group: o PCI/Compliance/SOX o Data Security o Cyber Risk Management o ISRM Operations - communications, metrics, governance o Security Architecture o Security Hygiene o Incident Response o Threat Intelligence * In general, ISRM Project Managers may be assigned to drive some of the following types of ISRM projects: o Assist in strategic planning of application migrations (security architecture reviews, business impact assessments, security code review), including tracking project progress, meeting coordination, minutes, etc. o Assist with projects within the Compliance area, as we have several assessments that will require some level of security remediation for ISRM. o Additionally, we have several projects that require us to expand our security tool set. This person may create project plans, financial budgeting, and assist in working with various staff and vendors to implement the product(s). o Assist with "Phase 0" (aka "Discovery") projects that are in need of assistance with gathering requirements in order to promote the effort into a full project. * Project Manager may lead and drive various security assessment projects, which will require the individual to be a strong leader, able to drive and hold teams accountable for tasks and schedules. * Creation of PowerPoint presentations, as well as commanding presentation skills will be expected for this role. * Experience with both Waterfall project management methodology, as well as experience with Agile/Scrum. * Candidate should be an experienced (12+ years required) Project Manager with project management experience in the ISRM space. * Strong project management skillset, highly organized individual, including proven ability to lead and drive project success. * Strong collaboration and communication skills, given the high potential for senior executive interactions and business strategic impact of the projects, as well as varying degrees of change management impact and project complexities. * Will work with a matrixed Phrmaceutical client team and an estimated 2 - 4 vendors. * Please note that given Clarity & Jira will be utilized project management toolsets, candidates with Clarity & Jira experience may take precedence if all things equal (i.e., tiebreaker). * This individual will be expected to drive projects forward while focusing on budgetary requirements. * Applicants must be U.S.-based and able to work full time. * Fully remote acceptable, with expectation candidate will work hours aligned with a Lake County, IL team based in the Central Time Zone. Expectations: * Develop, execute, and manage project(s) within the defined scope. * Lead all aspects of the project lifecycle, working with project sponsors/key stakeholders, team members, and management to oversee all phases of project completion. * Build and manage project's work breakdown structure, milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of the project. * Ensure transparent reporting of project status, issues, risks, and financials. * The individual will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. * Performs a variety of tasks. * May lead and direct the work of others. * Be able to work under general supervision. * A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Specific Responsibilities: * Initiate and Plan Project: Works with business, ISRM and IT management to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives, financials, and deliverables. * Project Control: Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect the project, working with business and IT management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution. Measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget. * Executing and Closing Project: Develops and executes a work plan obtaining authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed. Leads team in delivering project scope. Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders. * Project Communication: Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to project teams, business, and IT management. Makes recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues and manage risks. * Resource and Team Management: Coordinate resources to ensure project needs are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based upon their abilities. Motivates project team to deliver project outcomes. * Quality Management: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and functional policies and procedures. * Decisions: Make decisions that impact project level activities. Qualifications: * PPM Tool experience a must; Clarity PPM & Jira experience are preferred, given Clarity & Jira will be utilized project management toolsets. As such, candidates with Clarity & Jira experience may take precedence if all things equal (i.e., tiebreaker). * 12+ years of project management experience, including prior PM experience in the ISRM space. * Drive and motivation to get work done. (Driven, motivated individuals only) * Applicants must be U.S.-based and able to work full time. * Fully remote acceptable, with expectation candidate will work hours aligned with a Lake County, IL team based in the Central Time Zone. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with using Clarity PPM. * Experience with Jira. * Familiarity with Organization Change Management experience/knowledge. * Note: no requirement of PMP certification for this role. * Note: no requirement of Pharma experience for this role.
