Role:-Database Admin Location : Houston, TX Must Need any one : Timescale database / Time series database / PostgreSQL clusters Skills We're looking for a candidate with the right mix of technical and interpersonal skills for this role. Some of these skills include: Technical . Experience in implementing large Timescale Database or PostgreSQL clusters . Experience in Containers and Kubernetes . Strong knowledge of SQL and PLSQL . Good knowledge of Time series data . Good understanding of data management, data integration, and database development techniques . Ability to regularly learn, evaluate, and lead new technology implementation . Effectively communicating technical information Experience We believe applicants should have 5+ years of relevant experience with: . Time series data handling and experience in setting up and maintaining large Timescale or PostgreSQL clusters. . SQL and PLSQL, programming or scripting like shell, python, Golang etc Responsibilities This role carries a variety of responsibilities, including: . Implement the Timescale database . Design and configure database objects for various projects . Optimize the storage by establishing a tiered storage approach . Secure the data by deploying the access control and encryption for the data . Provide secure access to the data to application developers and other customers and document the data access . Develop and test queries for optimization . Continuously monitor the database performance and tune the database for performance . Backup and Recovery of the database . Evaluate and recommend new technologies for time series data management, storage, and analytics.
