Job Overview:
As a Senior API Developer you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients, taking direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications.
- Ensuring that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for agile software development.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
- Collaborate with application developers, end users, operational leadership, and subject matter experts to understand current and future goals.
- Recommend modern technology stacks to meet those goals and help engineering teams migrate towards their use.
- Utilize analytical, process, and/or technical skills to meet project objectives and deliverables that are self-directed and within project scope.
Qualifications:
- Passionate Java developer with 6+ years of software application development experience.
- Experience with full project life cycle, requirement analysis, design, development, test and support.
- Good understanding of API and Integration concepts and technologies, such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, message queues, and Integration Pattern / frameworks
- Good knowledge and experience with databases (relational and/or NoSQL).
- Experience in any continuous integration and continuous delivery tools (e.g.: git hub, Jenkins, bamboo, Gradle/Maven, Artifactory)
- Experience with Agile task management tools (e.g. JIRA, Rally, Version One)
- Good understanding /knowledge of the Linux/Unix commands.
- Familiarity with any java containers and logging / monitoring solutions.
- Experience in triaging, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.
- Client facing or consulting experience highly preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies
- Good to have: Experience with integration patterns, Apache camel and Spring boot
- Good to have: Any experience with open source integration tools
- Bachelor s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major.
I need 4 Java Developers with extensive Microservices and Spring Boot experience for a long term project in MA. The client will hire off skype.

Plus:
