End client: Telecom client Please let me know if you have any available candidates. *General Responsibilities* · Design web services and web applications, support applications under development, and customize current applications. · Develop, deploy, and support backend APIs using both server and serverless technologies. · Assist with the software update process for existing applications, and rollouts of software releases. · Tests and manages project deployments and production releases. · Design, implement, and maintain database through environments. · Configure and maintain AWS components (Lambda functions, API gateway, S3, EC2, EKS). · Provide technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance with regards to practices, procedures and techniques. · Conduct analysis to properly prioritize development tasks with management. · Guide and mentor junior-level engineers. · Executes tests to compare results with requirements, to verify test requirements, to identify defects, and to ensure compliance. · Participates in product feature discussions and proactively identify areas for testing. · Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps to ensure thorough testing of bug fixes and new features. · Providing input into new technologies and techniques, as well as participate in the development of proof of concepts and best practices. · Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise. · Provide Tier 2 and on-call support for Production issues as needed. *Technical Skills* Backend Technologies: J2EE, Spring Framework, AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, RDS, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS, API gateway), JDBC, SQL, noSQL (MongoDB or similar), Containers (Kubernetes) Frontend Technologies: JavaScript, AngularJS, Other Tools: Linux, Git, Splunk, Elastic Search, Jenkins, Wowza *Required Experience* · 4+ years Java development (Spring Framework or similar) · 4+ years providing production support on cloud environments · 4+ years with Spring/Hibernate/MVC and similar frameworks · 3+ years test experience with clear ability to deliver quality results on time · 2+ years AWS component experience · 2+ years deploying and maintaining web APIs · 2+ years managing Linux servers · Experience and comfort working in Agile work environments *Other Desirable Experience (Nice to have)* · 2+ years Python scripting and deployments (especially on AWS Lambda) · 2+ years Node.js (express framework or similar) development · Video encoding/streaming experience Thanks & Regards, Harshal Vaishnao Global IT Con LLC | An E-verify Employer Phone #: +1 (302) 357 - 9360 | Email: harsha...@globalitcon.com www.globalitcon.com | 1201 N Orange St# 7045 Wilmington, DE 19801-1186 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to "rtc-linux".
