Sirius Satellite Radio was completing agreements last week to air the games of at
least nine major college football programs this fall, sources said, with the deals
expected to total more than $2 million over their varying terms.

The partnerships mark Sirius' entry into college football programming. The schools
lined up for deals are Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina,
Syracuse, UCLA and USC.

Sirius officials declined comment. Officials from the schools either declined comment
or were unavailable as of press time.

According to sources, the deals are being struck either through the schools directly
or through their multimedia rights holders. Sirius will pay a rights fee to each
school that will range in annual value from a high five-figure amount to a low
six-figure number.

Six of the nine schools are poised for four-year deals, sources said. Terms of the
other agreements were not available. Each agreement would give Sirius rights to carry
the school's regular-season football games and possibly games from other sports.

The deals would follow Sirius' announcement late last year of a seven-year, $220
million a year deal with the NFL.

Sirius competitor XM Satellite Radio reached deals earlier this summer that make it
the official satellite partner for the Atlantic Coast and Pac-10 conferences. It was
not immediately clear if Sirius deals with UCLA and USC would conflict with XM's
Pac-10 deal.
