A medium size NGO is seeking a web developer with extensive experience in Ruby on Rails to help re-engineer and support an exciting project connected with the redevelopment of Haiti. The assignment will be US based and may not require any travel to Haiti, although willingness to go to Haiti for a short visit may be ideal. The focus will be work on an existing Ruby on Rails backend-frontend system that has been managed by a developer in Australia.
What we would like is someone who would be able to give us at least one month full-time to reengineer and stabilize the website, and who would after that be avaible for a few days of maintenance a month + troubleshooting as necessary. They should be able to ensure us a VERY quick turn-around time on troubleshooting!
