They are pretty well hidden. I am more interested in the future of Ryu,
will the project look to incorporate the move towards data plane
programmability via P4 P4Runtime etc... and support PISA architectures?

But still, OpenFlow is proven and widley accepted . Stratum is still
unknown and early bubble. so we have to wait and watch.

are you really sure about that? My reading is that the ONF is happy with
the current OpenFlow specs (<= 1.5) and that there seems no interest in
continuing evolving them. However that doesn't seem to mean that they are
not going to support it. How would they then continue to advertise
